Manage your conversations

Learn how to revisit, edit, share, and clean up your Agent conversations in Buron.

Every chat you have with the Agent is saved as a conversation. You can come back to it later, share it with a teammate, or pick up where you left off.

Revisit a past chat

Your past conversations live in the sidebar, ordered with the most recent on top. Click any one to open it back up. The Agent loads the full context, so you can keep the same thread going without having to recap.

To find an older chat, search for it by name from the top of the sidebar. Giving important conversations a clear title makes them easier to find later.

Edit a message you sent

To rephrase a message you've already sent, edit it in place rather than starting over. Hover over your message and click the edit icon. Make your changes, then send. The Agent picks the conversation up from your edited message and replies fresh.

This is especially useful when the Agent went off in the wrong direction because of how a message was worded. A small edit usually gets things back on track faster than a long correction.

Retry a response

When a response wasn't quite what you wanted, click Retry below the message and the Agent will try again. The retry uses the same prompt, so it works best when you suspect the model just didn't land it on the first try. If the prompt itself was off, edit your message instead.

Vote on a response

Each Agent response has a thumbs up and thumbs down. Voting helps Buron learn which kinds of replies are useful for your team. Vote on responses that were especially helpful, or especially not.

Copy or share a chat

The header above each conversation has options to copy or share it. Copying gives you a link you can paste into a doc or a message. Sharing changes the conversation's visibility, which we'll cover next.

Make a chat private or public

Every conversation has a visibility setting in the header dropdown. Private means only you can see it. The lock icon is your reminder. Public means anyone in your team with the link can open it. You'll see a globe icon there instead.

Most chats start out private. To get a teammate's input on something the Agent said, switch the chat to public, copy the link, and send it over.

Public chats are visible to anyone on your team who has the link. Don't switch a chat to public if it includes sensitive details.

Stop a streaming response

To stop the Agent in the middle of a response, click the stop button next to the input. The Agent saves what it has and lets you reply.

When a conversation gets long

There's no hard limit, but very long chats can drift. If your conversation has wandered well past what you originally asked, start a new one and link back to the old one in your opening message. The Agent reads the old chat for context, and you'll get a tighter back-and-forth.
