Connect your TikTok Ads account

Connect TikTok Ads so Buron pulls your campaign, ad, and conversion performance into Reports next to your other sources.

Connect TikTok Ads and Buron pulls your paid TikTok performance, campaigns, ad groups, ads, and the conversions TikTok reports, into the same place you analyze everything else, so TikTok sits next to your other sources instead of in its own tab.

TikTok Ads Manager is one more login and one more export. You know spend is going out and results are coming back, but comparing TikTok's cost per result to your other channels means stitching CSVs together by hand. This connects it so TikTok spend, clicks, and results line up with Google Ads, Search Console, and everything else automatically. Buron reads your reporting only, it can't create, edit, pause, or spend anything in your ad account.

Before you begin

  • A Buron workspace.
  • A TikTok for Business account with one or more advertisers you can access, including advertisers under a Business Center. You pick which ones to sync after connecting.
  • Admin access in your Buron workspace, so you can authorize the connection.

TikTok Ads is rolling out in beta. If you don't see it in your workspace yet, it's on the way.

Step 1: Open the app

Open Settings → TikTok Ads directly, or find it in Settings → Integrations and open it.

Step 2: Authorize

On the Connect tab, click Connect TikTok Ads. You'll go to TikTok's consent screen, where you approve read access to your advertising data. Buron reads reporting only, it can't post, edit, or change anything in your ad account.

When you come back, you'll see a Connected badge next to the TikTok Ads title and a "TikTok Ads connected" toast.

Step 3: Pick advertisers

After connecting, the Advertisers tab shows a checkbox row for each advertiser Buron can reach, with its name and currency, across any Business Centers you authorized. Tick the ones you want Buron to sync, then click Save. Only the advertisers you select are synced.

If you add a new advertiser in TikTok later, click Refresh advertisers to rediscover it, no need to reconnect.

Step 4: Sync

Open the Syncs tab and run a sync from the Data sync panel to pull the latest performance from TikTok. Recent runs show up on the same tab, so you can check sync health there too.

What Buron pulls in

Once an advertiser is connected and synced, you get two slices:

  • TikTok performance: Spend, Impressions, Clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, and Conversions by campaign, ad group, ad, and day, plus each campaign, ad group, and ad's name and ID. Rate metrics (CTR, CPC, CPM) are computed from the summed totals at whatever grain you group by, so they stay accurate when you roll up to campaign or account instead of drifting like an average of daily rates would.
  • TikTok conversions (platform-reported): the conversions TikTok attributes, by conversion event and day.

These are TikTok's platform-reported conversions, not Buron's conversion truth. TikTok credits conversions its own way, so they won't match your pixel-plus-CRM numbers. For revenue and cross-channel attribution, use the Buron pixel with a connected CRM, Buron attributes on a first- or last-touch basis.

Where to see it

  • Datasets: find TikTok performance and TikTok conversions in the list (search "TikTok" or filter to the Warehouse source). Slice by campaign, ad group, ad, or date, then build a report from either dataset and pin it to a dashboard.
  • Cross-channel: once synced, TikTok spend and results line up beside your other paid sources in the cross-channel ad views, so you can compare cost per result across channels in one table.
  • Settings → TikTok Ads: the Syncs tab shows recent sync runs and lets you re-run one. If the connection ever errors, the page shows a Reconnect required badge.

Frequently asked questions

What can Buron do in my TikTok account? Read your advertising reports only. It can't create, edit, pause, or spend, there's no write access.

How do I choose which advertisers sync? After you connect, open the Advertisers tab, check the advertisers you want, then click Save. Added a new advertiser in TikTok? Click Refresh advertisers to rediscover it, no reconnect needed. Only the advertisers you select are synced.

Do TikTok's conversions feed attribution or ROAS? No. TikTok's reported conversions are platform-reported reporting figures that sit next to your other sources. Buron's own attribution (first- or last-touch) comes from the pixel plus your CRM, never from TikTok's numbers.

My badge says "Reconnect required." TikTok's access expired or was revoked, so syncs paused. Open Settings → TikTok Ads and connect again to restore it, your advertiser selection is kept.

How often does it refresh? Syncs run on a schedule. You can also run one on demand from the Syncs tab.

Next steps

  • Connect Google Ads to compare paid search and paid social side by side.
  • Ask the agent about your TikTok performance once a sync has run.
  • Set up an automation to check your ad performance on a recurring schedule.
