Connect your CRM

Connect Attio or HubSpot so Buron ties won deals and pipeline back to the marketing that drove them.

The pixel knows the visitor journey. Your CRM knows who became a lead, who closed, and how much they paid. Connect them and Buron turns "traffic by channel" into "pipeline and revenue by channel".

Buron connects to Attio and HubSpot over OAuth and reads only the deal and contact fields attribution needs. It then matches the people on your deals to tracked visitors by hashed email, and credits the channels and campaigns that earned each one.

Before you begin

  • The Buron pixel installed. Attribution joins your CRM deals to the touchpoints the pixel captures.
  • Admin access to your Attio or HubSpot workspace, so you can authorize the connection.

You only need to connect one CRM. Pick the one your revenue lives in.

Connect Attio

Step 1: Authorize

Open Settings → Attio and click Connect with Attio. Approve the consent screen, and you'll come back with a green Connected badge.

Step 2: Map your data

Open the Mapping tab. Standard Attio attributes are preselected, so most workspaces just skim this:

  • Currency for deal values
  • Deal source: your deal and people objects, and which stages count as won
  • Funnel stages: map each Attio stage to a category (Lead, MQL, SQL, Opportunity, Won). This drives down-funnel metrics like cost per lead, and lets a deal be credited the moment it reached a stage, not only when it closed.
  • Leads: every Attio person counts as a lead, dated when they were created (the form-fill date). To count only some, point Buron at the person attribute that holds the lead source and the values that qualify.
  • Deal attributes: conversion date, stage, value, and the people link
  • Identity: how Buron matches Attio people to visitors (email, hashed email, or your own user ID)

Click Save mapping.

Step 3: Sync

Open the Syncs tab to run a sync now or check recent runs. Buron pulls your won deals and the people on them, then joins them to pixel touchpoints.

Connect HubSpot

Step 1: Authorize

Open Settings → HubSpot and click Connect with HubSpot. Approve the consent screen to return connected.

Step 2: Map your data

Open the Mapping tab. HubSpot's standard source fields are used by default, so you only map what your portal stores somewhere custom:

  • Currency: ROAS is only computed against ad spend in the same currency
  • Conversion dates: the won deal date (for deal conversions) and lifecycle stage dates (Lead, MQL, SQL) for funnel-stage conversions
  • Conversion details: the deal's revenue value, and the contact email (Buron hashes it during sync and never stores the raw address)
  • First and last touch: HubSpot's deal source is used by default. Map contact properties only if you keep UTMs, landing pages, or click IDs somewhere custom.

Click Save mapping. Buron checks each property exists in HubSpot before it saves.

Step 3: Sync

Open the Syncs tab to pull the latest contacts and deals, or inspect recent runs.

What Buron pulls in

Once a CRM is connected and synced:

  • Won deals, with their value and close date
  • Lifecycle and stage dates (lead, MQL, SQL, and on) for down-funnel metrics
  • The people on each deal, matched to tracked visitors by hashed email

All of it joins to the pixel's touchpoints, so every deal and stage is credited to the channel and campaign that earned it.

Where to see it

  • Datasets hold your CRM data. Build a Report to slice pipeline, revenue, and ROAS by channel, campaign, or landing page, and to track down-funnel rates like cost per lead and cost per MQL. Pin the reports you want to a Dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

What does Buron read? Only the contact and deal fields attribution needs. Contact emails are hashed on sync.

Do I need custom fields? No. Standard Attio attributes and HubSpot properties are preselected. You only map something when your workspace stores it in a non-standard place.

How are deals matched to visitors? By email. Buron hashes the address as it arrives, both from the pixel and on CRM sync, and discards the raw value, so matching happens on the hash and the raw address is never stored.

My HubSpot ROAS is blank. ROAS is only computed when a deal's currency matches the currency of your ad spend. Set the right currency in the Mapping tab.

How often does it refresh? Syncs run on a schedule. You can also run one on demand from the Syncs tab.
